I'm still stuck not getting software updates from Verizon who is my carrier that I pay hundreds a month too because I have an unlocked straight from Google pixel 6 pro but Verizon doesn't use the official Google updates and have their own path. When is that going to be fixed?

Getting updates to your phone is important, and I know you're anticipating getting it on your device. I'm not showing that the Pixel 6 Pro has the December update yet. You are able to check the device for the update by going to Settings/System/System Update. -Jordan

Jordan, this isnt helpful. Google released a december update with a TON of fixes a week ago and we VZW are still waiting for the update no reason Verizon shouldnt have it. Makes no sense.

I want to ensure you get the information you need regarding your software update, Gino6719. The latest software update released to Verizon was on 11/16/2021. Here is a link: https://www.verizon.com/support/google-pixel-6-pro-update/ to our website with the current software update version available for your device.

Perhaps, maybe, you should be using the same system that the Fios forum reps use when interacting with the community members?

Google original released the update for most pixel devices on Dec 6th (except for pixel 6). You can see that update went out to those phones on the day it was released by google.

Google released the update for the pixel 6's on Dec 13th. So any reason we didn't get it the day it was released? Any idea when verizon will push this OTA update through?

The link you provided states the update was released on 12/16 but it's still not being pushed to phones.

Google pulled the update. Not Verizon Wireless. Google. See the link below for why.

All Pixel updates are from Google not the carrier. If you haven't seen it yet, then it hasn't been pushed to your phone yet.

From what I have read in numerous tech forums no one in the US has received the December feature drop update on a Pixel 6 / 6 Pro; no one. Google released it for overseas regions, but has not yet released it for the US. So in this case it'snot just a Verizon thing, everyone in the US with a Pixel 6 is still waiting on the December update. And many users in Europe have experienced major issues with cell service connectivity. So that might be why it is delayed here. I certainly don't want the update if it going to break connection to cell service.

The pulled updates will affect T-Mobile customers too.
