Will it be possible to install the Call Filter app on the Pixel 3?

I'm excited to try out the Call Filter app and the Pixel 3 is listed on Verizon's site under devices compatible with the service. However, when I go to install the app in the Google Play store it says Call Filter is incompatible with my device. Is the roll out to Pixel 3 not coming or am I just too early?

You know the Pixels have a call block/spam block filter built in already at least ever since Pie.

I have a pixel 2 and I am having the same issue. I contacted verizon tech support and was told that it is a known issue and that it is Google's problem. I then contacted Google and they told me it is Verizon's problem. This is a real shame, I get many spam calls and was really hoping that this app would help. It is true that Google's phones have the call screening feature but it would be more helpful to me if these spam calls just didn't make it through at all.
