I have a pixel 7A and recently added an ESIM number so that I have two numbers on my device. Phone calls, and voicemail are all accessed through the same Phone app. Visual voicemail is working for one of the lines but the other line requires me to call voicemail and shows a message "Supports default SIM only - to access visual voicemail, set this SIM as the default data SIM in settings". Is it possible to have visual voicemail work on BOTH lines? Or only on the SIM that is set to default?
We certainly understand the importance of being able to access your voicemails quickly. Visual Voicemail only works on the mobile number that is selected as the primary cellular data line. The non-data line can receive voicemail but does not receive a missed call notification or voicemail alert. We hope this helps to address your concern.
