Call filter app

Question

Trying to use my call filter but the app says it's not compatible with my phone. I have a brand new pixel 9 pro and the app downloads. It isn't until I open the app it says not compatible with this device go to Verizon for details. Then their is no detail just a display saying call filter active. I can check blocked numbers add numbers to spam list or remove numbers marked as spam that are not. Also having a lot of other strange issues with my phone like using the internet continuously changing languagesnto korean, french, sometimes says I'm in Canada,  sometimes everything is Chinese. Also received email thanking me for purchasing my prepaid plan. I'm not on a prepaid plan. I've been having a ton of issues ever since upgrading to the pixel 9 pro.

I can't speak for the fluctuating language issue, but if your phone is unlocked and not a Verizon model, then Verizon-specific apps don't work except for My Verizon.  As for someone potentially buying another line on Verizon Prepaid under your name, I'd check your bank accounts and credit reports.

  is correct. If your phone is an Unlocked model (as in purchased right from the Google Store) then Verizon specific apps will not work, except My Verizon. I have an unlocked Pixel 9 Pro XL and the My Verizon app works fine, but other Verizon apps will not. Are you aware of all the better call filtering and spam protection options in the Phone app on your Pixel? See this Help article.

The built-in Phone app call filters and spam protection work much better than anything Verizon offers.  As for the system language changing your best option is to ask for help in the Pixel phone forums, not here.
