Google Pixel 6 service

I moved to Portland, OR and could no longer use my phone. I literally had no service most of the day. It was so bad I couldn't even make wifi calls and just get a "no service" warning.

I bought a "new" Pixel 6a phone directly from Verizon online less than 6 months ago to ensure I wouldn't have these kinds of issues. Verizon sold me this used/defective phone as new for more than it was worth. Its never been a reliable phone but it was too late to return when I realized all this. For whatever reason it stopped working entirely at the same time I moved to this location.

I followed the Verizon "trouble shooting" which told me to open my SIM drawer. This deactivated my ESim. I tried to use Verizon chat to reactivate it, but Verizon still tries to verify your Identity through text despite the fact you have a broken phone, something that has forced me to go without cell service for up to a week. This is the 4th time its happened to me in 4 years. Its a known problem that Verizon still hasn't fixed.

I went to a Verizon store and the guy held my phone hostage for 30 minutes, basically telling me Verizon sold me a broken phone and I should buy a new one, from him. He refused to reactivate my ESim and tried to sell me a new one. I had to pay $30 for another SIM card, despite having one at home from my last phone.

Nowhere does your trouble shooting recommend checking for an Android update. After 2 weeks of no service, I figured out Android never updated to 15. But that wasn't enough. For whatever reason I had to manually update "carrier" services and "Google chat." All my missed voice mails came in, but my service is still spotty, as its always been with this phone.

Now Im seeing all the posts about how Verizon is basically not compatible with Pixel 6. So why Verizon sell me one???

Im stuck on this contract until March. Im paying $100 a month for little to no service after giving Verizon $500 for a defective phone and was forced to buy another SIM because Verizon sold me an incompatable phone?

What are the chances I will get reimbursed for any of this?
