I'm seeing articles about a 2nd April update for connection issues for Pixel users, however it doesn't list the Pixel 6A. I have a Pixel 6A and for the last couple of months I have missed calls, and or can't send or receive text messages normally. does anyone know if Google or Verizon is going to address this issue that is affecting older Pixel devices?

The new update is for a very specific issue with the radios in the Pixel 7, 8 and Fold (I believe) where those Pixel phones did not correctly switch from cell data to Wi-Fi or from Wi-Fi to cell data. That caused calls and texts to not come through. That's what Google fixed in the new update. It's easy to tell if you were affected by the March patch issue: you learn that people called you and sent you texts, but you never received them > you restart your phone and missed calls and texts notifications start pouring in.
I think the Pixel 6a uses a different radio than the 7 & 8.
