Hi. I'm not able to find info about my IMEI number on the Google database, hence I'm not able to know when my device will be unlocked. Please help.
Carrier locks aren't maintained by Google unless you are financing the device through Google through Fi or a separate entity similarly. If you financed it via Verizon, they will make the unlock determination based on finance status.
It's fully paid off, but I believe Verizon still locks it until 60 days pass. But everywhere in the system, the IMEI number of my unit doesn't show up. I don't even know when the warranty ends.
MEGATSYAATHIBIY, devices that you purchase from Verizon are locked for 60 days after purchase. Devices that you purchase from our retail partners are locked for 60 days after activation. After 60 days, we will automatically remove the lock. Following the 60-day lock period, we do not lock our phones at any time.
