I am texting people in my contact group for years.  all of a sudden I have been getting "undelivered Mail Returned to Sender) this is the mail system at host twbgohaavzwvmta-c-rh-cmta-01-sms-01.vtext.com" ,  I recently got a new phone .  Looks like Message app is being blocked, have a solution?

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems with your text to e-mail. Verizon can't guarantee the deliver or receipt of text to e-mail due to the inherent limitations of text to e-mail. W're sorry for the inconvenience.

That "Customer Service Rep" response is non-responsive.

If VZ doesn't have a real answer then a simple acknowledgement that "we're having problems" and/or "we're working on it" is a whole lot more honest then that service is not guaranteed.

Just had two such messages yesterday and three is the last half hour. Something is screwed up.

The "Customer Service Rep" response was non-responsive.

I've had the same issue twice yesterday (6Jan24) and three messages today in the last hour (spent a half-hour getting registered for "the community" since my account login doesn't work) and am typing this for the second time.

If VZ is having a problem, say so. "We don't know what's wrong but we're working on it" is a valid and reasonable response. So is "The mailer daemon is having issues and IT is working it".

You can't guarantee service!! No kidding.

Having the same issue. Sending out texts through vtext.com and vzwpix.com, we get a connection refused message from

twbgohaavzwvmta-c-rh-cmta-01-sms00.vtext.com

Doing a reverse lookup says the machine doesn't have any DNS records.

I get texts from our system and so does the technician investigating this problem.

I often want to send information from my phone messages to my outlook account.  Lately that has become impossible due to the following error:

This is the mail system at host twbgohaavzwvmta-c-rh-cmta-01-mms-00.vtext.com.

I'm sorry to have to inform you that your message could not
be delivered to one or more recipients. It's attached below.

For further assistance, please send mail to postmaster.

If you do so, please include this problem report. You can
delete your own text from the attached returned message.

I get a similar but far shorter rejection when sending to email from the  VTEXT.com address by turning off MMS and RCS.  So, apparently, VZWPIX.com and VTEXT.com are not trusted by Outlook.com or vice versa.

This completely eliminates the ability to communicate between Messages and Email on Verizon messaging apps.

Not good Bob!!!

What is Verizon doing about this?  Why are all text messages to email being treated as SPAM?  I get plenty of SPAM to my messaging app from various political operatives.  Verizon doesn't seem to care about that.  But paying customers from identifiable Verizon phones are all being treated like spammers.  That's outlandish!  Not to mention super lousy customer service.  And the reps who are replying to this are totally incompetent to even explain the issue.  They should escalate it to technical support instead of acting supinely helpless.

Hey there, BenAround, thanks for reaching out about this messaging issue. The Vtext/VZpix services are no longer supported and are in process of being fully shut down. If you are a business customer and in need of sending messages, Customer Service can set you up with Enterprise Messaging. Please Contact Us: https://www.verizon.com/digital/nsa/nos/ui/ngd/contactus and we can help get you set up.
