Pixel 6 getting server error when placing a call

New pixel 6, has been setup correctly and is getting internet connectivity both through wifi and LTE. However it can not make a call, it is getting "server error, try again later"

I have gone through the verizon trouble shooter and reset teh phone a number of times.

Still no resolution.
