For the past couple of months, I have not been receiving notifications for voicemails on my Pixel 9 Pro XL. Between me and my family, we have three Pixel 9 Pros - two XLs and one non-XL. None of them are receiving voicemail notifications. All have been updated to Android 16 and at least the two XLs have the latest September 2025 Pixel Drop update.
Usually, within a few minutes after restarting the phone, the notification for the VM shows up and I can browse to it in the Phone app. If the phone isn't restarted and the notification is allowed to come in normally, it doesn't appear until MUCH later, usually the following day.
Once the notification and VM appear, it works fine. Any old VMs work fine.
I missed a call from my doctor earlier this week and didn't get the notification for a voicemail until the following morning. I don't know if the blame for this lies with Verizon or Google, but either way, it's unacceptable.
I have a ticket in with Verizon support, but so far, none of their solutions have helped.
