Pixel Battery Drain Issues After Latest Update – Anyone Else?

Hey everyone,

I’ve been using my Google Pixel for a while now, and it’s been a solid experience. But after the latest update, I’ve noticed some serious battery drain! My phone barely lasts half a day now, even with minimal usage. I’ve already tried the usual fixes—clearing cache, disabling background apps, and even a factory reset—but nothing seems to work.

Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Any tips or workarounds that have worked for you? I’m considering rolling back to a previous version, but I’d love to hear some suggestions before going that route.

Hi Romi11. That is the last thing anyone wants to deal with is to worry about the battery draining. We are here to troubleshoot with your help. When you check out Battery in settings, what apps are using the most battery? How long has it been since the latest update? Have all the apps also updated? Don't know how long you've had the phone, but maybe it's just the battery isn't holding a charge well anymore and you'd have to either get a new phone or replace the battery, if it's an older phone.

Can you tell which Pixel you are using? Also, you can use dark mode and turn off AOD (Always on Display) temporarily to improve the battery life. Also, check if any 3rd party apps are causing any issue by restarting your device in safe mode.

t’s possible that the battery is losing its capacity over time, which happens with older phones. You might consider replacing the battery or upgrading to a new phone.
