My Pixel 7 signal strength icon is showing a constant jump up and down. The video is the result of about 45 seconds (I shortened the video). I am also having trouble with the phone dropping calls in the car which it has never done before. I got the phone in 2019.

@suttonbaym, it was posted elsewhere that Google pushed another software update for Pixel phones just a few days ago which you'll want to install because a LOT of Pixel 7 users were having radio firmware issues before and this newest update has fixed it.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

suttonbaym, having signal fluctations there is not something we want to see. Naturally, that's an item we want to troubleshoot with you to see what's going on. As part of that, it'd be good to have some more details, such as where is this signal issue happening most often? What's the city/state?

Thank you John. It is Sioux Falls, South Dakota and I have lived here through the life of this phone so nothing has changed. I did an update on the Pixel 7 April 5, but when I checked on it today it said it hadn't finished so I finished the update. Now the Signal strength is stable. But this is a repeat of what happened about 2 weeks ago.

We appreciate the additional details. If the problem persists after the update, let us know, and we'll be happy to further look into this.

Hello, suttonbaym, I'm glad to hear you were able to catch that your software update did not finish and you were able to complete that. You mentioned that since the update, your signal has been stable. Have you been running into any issues at all since completing the most recent update?
