Internet connection reconnects and disconnects on his own. My device would say 5G UW and the connection continues to run at slow speeds. Sometimes, the reception shows me 0 bars. To temporarily fix this issue, I have to restart my device every time. Text messages are delayed and regular internet browsing won't load quickly unless I connect to a wifi.

Google has released an update that hopefully will address cellular network stability issues.

Be advised that the new April update (the second one for April) might or might not fix your issues. The new update is for a very specific issue where Pixel phones did not correctly switch from cell data to Wi-Fi or from Wi-Fi to cell data. That caused calls and texts to not come through. That's what Google fixed in the new update. It's easy to tell if you were affected by the March patch issue: you learn that people called you and sent you texts, but you never received them > you restart your phone and missed calls and texts notifications start pouring in.
It's still a very good idea to apply the new April update. But your issue could be different and could be a Verizon network problem. I have noticed similar issues with Verizon's 5G and LTE in my zip code also. It's been very spotty and weak for weeks now, before any of these Google updates. It used to always be very strong. I can see a cell tower from my house and most days lately the 5G signal is nonexistent and the LTE is weak. If I drive a few miles to a different area, it's much better.

Oh, wow! Dealing with service issues can be frustrating, especially if you are encountering connection issues. Verizon is here to help.
Let's gather additional details. When did the problem start? What recent changes have you made? Aside from the slow data and delayed texts, any other issues? Who else is experiencing this problem?

I am in zip code 37040 and I noticed that the 5G / LTE signal started becoming very slow around 10 days ago. It's usually very good in this area but lately I have to use Wi-Fi at my house because the cell data is just really slow. My phone will show a 5G connection but nothing loads fast (streaming music, web pages, YouTube, etc.). I did notice that it was better this morning, seemed like normal again. Hopefully you guys fixed whatever was wrong with the towers in our area.
