Phone: Pixel 5A Android: ver. 13
Problem: Can't Receive login Verification Code
My phone works perfectly in all other ways. I can receive verificaton texts from other websites and accounts or other phones without any problems. I can also send and receive Verizon text messages.
Only when I try to login to my Verizon account from my laptop does this problem occur. The webpage says it is sending the verificaton code to my phone, but it never arrives. The MyVerizon app on my phone does allow me to login and access my account however.
Can someone please tell me how to fix this?
thanks

After spending over 2 hours on the phone with Verizon support (including Escalation Team) for 2 days, they were unable to figure this out.
So today, I decided to troubleshoot this myself because I don't have any more time to waste on this.
I fixed this by using the Verizon app. Opened MyVerizon and confirmed Push Enabled. Did this fix the problem? NO.
I then Set to PUSH Notifications: Data Usage. Did this fix the problem? YES.
So now when I attempt to login to the Verizon website on a computer, it sends the Account Access option to the Verizon App where I then select: Allow Access
I am then allowed to access my account online - the web page goes to MyVerizon in my browser.
Also: I believe there is still a bug with account access online. My PUSH Notification was set to Text which did not work. No access code was ever received in my Verizon text messages.

Philverz,
Making sure you have access to your account at all times is crucial. We would like to do all we can to help.
When was the last time you were able to access My Verizon on your laptop? WHat web browser are you using, and have you tried any alternative ones?
