After just having my Thunderbolt for a few weeks, and only getting into the settings once to set the alarm, the alarm clock icon has disappeared. The alarm still goes off daily, but theres no way to go in and change the time. Anyone else having this issue?
Open the Clock app. Open the app drawer and scroll to the Clock app and check the alarm section.

Can you open the clock application?

You have to add a clock widget, htc moved it with the gingerbread update
And the minor update to software version 2.11.605.9 put the Clock application back in the app drawer.
If the OP has the latest version of the Gingerbread update installed, the clock functions are available from both the application shortcut and a clock widget.
I know this because my Tbolt had the access to the clock app hidden from one update and restored in a later update.

I had the same issue! I changed my homescreen to the one that shows the widget with the clock & weather of my location, i tapped the part of the widget that displayed the time, I was able to select the alarm icon, and set my clock that way. I think this issue is affecting most of the HTC's with gingerbread and froyo software.
I can open the clock app, but the alarm is no longer there.
Do a search for clock apk.
