I checked my privacy settings on facebook and everything looks okay there, and every time I click on the "Authorize HTC Sense..." notification, it sends me to my news feed on the facebook app. Doesn't ask for any more info. And the notification remains in the notification bar. And I can't clear it out or slide it off. What the heck is going on?
