Hey guys, I just saw this article today. HTC has decided to no longer push the ICS update to the HTC Desire.
While I know this is not a complete death punch for the Rezound. But it does make me worry that the Rezound may be decided that is it not worth upgrading.
If that is the case, I wonder if Verizon will offer us a discount on a new Phone. Since most of us were promised the update when we purchased our phone.
A phone released in 2010 with a single core and 1.5 GB of internal memory that was originally issued with FroYo. Nope, not surprised. http://www.htc.com/www/smartphones/htc-desire-hd/#specs
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
The Desire HD not getting updated has no bearing whatsoever on whether or not the Rezound gets it. It's at least a year older than the Rez and, though it was good for it's time, has a lot lower specs.
