Bluetooth quit

I've used my bluetooth since I bought the HTC Rezound phone19 months ago for my car handsfree and other bluetooth devices.  The phone no longer finds the bluetooth devices.  I've been to the Verizon store 3 times and ended up having the factory reset done.  Went a a cell phone repair service that sent me back to Verizon.  Verizon sent me to the manufacturer, HTC, whom I talked with tonite.  They can't do anything for me even though there are plenty of users documenting the fact that their bluetooth no longer functions on their HTC Rezound after the last ICS update.  My job requires the use of Bluetooth so I'm dead in the water.  I have no choice but to do an expensive phone upgrade because I must have Bluetooth capabilities.  I will never buy another HTC product.  Consumers should have protection from this type of irresponsibility by the manufacturer.  What's to keep this from happening after I buy another new, expensive phone???

It's likely a software issue if it died after a ICS update.  All else fails then move to a different phone.

When you spoke with HTC,  did they say that it was a known issue? Or indicate that it is something they would be addressing in a future update?

I'm pretty involved with a Rezound community on another site and I haven't heard anyone say anything about bluetooth problems (at least not on a stock device).  Do you have some reference to these other users who have documented these problems?
