Recently, I have discovered that sometimes, someone will call me and will hear my phone ring on their end and it takes them to my voice mail and I'm none the wiser. Most recent, I had someone call and leave a voice message 2 days ago and the voice mail symbol didn't show up until someone else left a second voice mail, so not only did I not know they had called but I didn't know someone had left a message either.
Another member of my household has the Thunderbolt as well and we have tested this, and numerous times when I call their phone and we're sitting right next to each other the person calling hears it ringing but the one receiving the call never knows they missed a call. We have both had our phones for a year and a half exactly.
What is causing this issue? How can we fix it?
Solved! Go to Correct Answer
you can log into google play via a pc and re-install from there
heck my old phone is still listed on there with the apps i had on it
try a factory reset
What is that going to do to the rest of my phone. Pictures, ringtones, anything else I have on there?
if they are on the sd card, they should still be there
if in the phone memory "gone"
of course you will need to re-install all apps, reset up the phone, ect ect
It's a possibility, but since I've had it for a year and a half and it's kinda my life line I'd rather not have to re-install everything I have. That would be an incredibly tedious task--we're talking hours of writing down info that's stored in the phone! Is there a way to bring it to the store to have them reset without deleting everything on it?

Forgive my ignorance in phone use, but...how do I use google play/re-install. I've never had to do that.

you can install apps from there
it will list apps on your phone
