I currently have the original Droid from Motorola. I'm thinking of getting a Thunderbolt, but I don't want any unpleasant surprises. All my contacts are set up in Gmail, complete with photos. Can I set up my Gmail account in Thunderbolt and get the complete contact info on the phone? Some phones have really sucky phonebooks.

Yes, your Google contacts will sync with the Thunderbolt once you sign in. I am not sure what the differences would be between the Contacts app on the Motorola DROID and the Sense skinned People app.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
