Can't receive text messages

Recently, this past weekend, my phone stopped receiving text messages.  I can send them fine but cannot receive.  After being on the phone with VZW tech support for 2 hours, we ended up doing a factory reset (which always sucks).  Upon restart, all of the back text messages came in but now it's not receiving again.  This is the only problem with the phone as all other data can come in and out including google chat.  Anyone have a fix for this?  I'm using the stock app.

Try sending yourself a text message and see if it is delivered.  I know that helped me with a stuck picture message.
