Currently, my phone shows up as CALIFORNIA in call ID, how to I change that?

You'll have to contact Targus about that, they regulate Verizon's caller ID

Targus does manage our inter-carrier caller ID feature.  However, if the field is coming up as California, it may be because you have a California number, and the person receiving the call has a city/state identifier based on the number calling them.  This is something that cannot be altered because it is up to the person receiving the phone calls to disable that feature with their cellular/landline provider.

 

Here's a second scenario: On the other hand, if the person you are calling doesn't have the state/city identifier on their caller ID, and your NAME comes across as "California" on the caller ID, we would open up a trouble ticket to have the name cleared with Targus.

 

Note:  The name can only be cleared, and not altered.  After it is cleared, it will show up as Cellular/Wireless Caller.
