How do i transfer my contacts from my OMNIA II to the ThunderBolt

is omnia a phone or email account? are the contacts in an online account?
export them as a csv file & then import into gmail & they'll be transferred to phone.
Contacts from a Windows Mobile 6.5 phone compatable with an Android phone. I have imported my contacts to my gmail account.
