Does anyone know how to recover pictures from the HTC Rhyme.

My daughter just deleted a picture that was needed for her science project.  Can I get it back?

Unfortunately, unless she had her photos backed up somewhere (computer, cloud service), the photo is lost.

I had to go out and buy a SanDisk from Best Buy for about $10 - $15 and you remove this itty bitty microchip from the back of the phone (you have to remove the cover which is a little challange). I'm told you can also remove the chip and take it to a Walgreens and upload them. Keep in mind though they are not the best resolution because this phone does not have a high pixel count. I had to learn all this pretty much by asking my younger co-workers and pieced it together after we removed the back phone cover and discovered the little chip. If she deleted the picture, it's probably no longer on the chip either. At least now you know how to retrieve them. Even the phone tech at Verizon couldn't tell me. Good Luck.

lfoxo:  You've brought up a good point that I unfortunately neglected to mention earlier.  If , by chance, the photos are stored on an SD card, you can sometimes use recovery software to retrieve deleted photos.  You'd need to remove the SD card and insert it in your computer or a card reader and run the software from the computer.  You can do a Google search regarding photo recovery software.
