I had this happened and I learned that I had one unread message from days back that I did not read yet, try opening emails accounts page and select Menu and then slide the botton button over to the unread tab and make sure you havent missed a message that you did not realize..

Thanks for the info I'll try marking them all read, but I usually have some unread messages in my inbox maybe I have a rule set to move certain messages to a different folder. I think I had market for all folders to be updated after the update. You are probably correct. Thank you again.
