I've had several apps (Yahoo messenger, Droid Armory, and a few others) that force close immediately upon opening while connected to the 4G network. Hhowever, when I connect using WiFi all the apps work fine. Help!?!

They probably haven't been updated to use LTE yet. Remember seeing someone with a similar problem that was using yahoo but can't remember where.

Is it possible to set certain apps to connect using 3G?

Not that I know of. If you use those apps a lot, the best option is to just disable 4G. It'll probably help with battery life too. You can disable it by downloading Phone Info from the market. Open the app and Select Phone Information, scroll down until you see a drop down with CDMA+LTE/EVDO and change that to CDMA Auto (PRL). Just keep hitting the back soft key until you get back to your home screen. This will lock you to 3G. To get LTE back just repeat the process but choose CDMA+LTE instead.
