My camera force closes and says process com.android.camera has stopped unexpectedly, when I try to stitch from the main to the front camera
Try going into Settings-Applications-Manage Applications, hit the All tab. Scroll down to and select Camera and choose Clear Data. Hopefully that will fix it.
