Maybe I am missing something. My camera looks the same, my contacts look the same. The face unlock doesn't work. I have the upgrade becauase some things have changed based on the upgrade.
Am I missing something or is it because this is an upgrade vs. new phone with pre loaded ICS??

The camera and people apps are a part of HTC's Sense UI. The Rezound's ICS upgrade only included an upgrade from Sense 3.5 to Sense 3.6, so many of the integrated apps look very similar vs a new phone, like the Incredible 4G, which has Sense 4.0. I don't know about your face unlock, that should be working.

Good morning birdieluvr76,
Congratulations on getting the new Ice Cream Sandwich software update on the HTC Rezound! I’m sure that you will LOVE the new enhancements that this update brings to the device. Software enhancements are always exciting as they make it feel like we have a whole new phone! I’m sure that you may have some questions as to what are all the enhancements are so I took the liberty to post a link for your review.

i've been trying to download the new ics for 3 days now, it doesn't work. I get the message that is available, then I start the process, then when it's time to load the new FW, it gets about have way done and I get the traingle with the red exclamation point. Its sits that way for hours. I pull the battery, then my phone never comes back, it sits on the white HTC screen for hours. I pull the battery, then I get this and that suddenly stopped working, force close and this goes on for several minutes, then it shuts off.........
This is my 3rd Rezound and let me tell you these things are a piece of $hiT. I wish I could get a different phone.

How much space is available on the Internal Memory location? If you are low, move what you can either to the SD card, or remove them completely, and then try it again. Low space can cause installation issues.

It supposedly takes 7 hours to download and install even on 4g lte, so pulling the battery is a bad idea.

I think that means downloading new software do not turn off phone, it just shows up when you are updating.

Have you made sure you have adequate internal storage. If you don't have enough, the install will fail. The update itself is around 300 MB, and you will need a little more room on top of that in order to install it. Clear some cache and data (browser and Facebook are the biggest offenders), delete some texts, and move some apps to the SD card and try the update again.

Thanks for helping here.
I don't use FB, wish I could delete the app all together. I don't keep texts and it looks like I have most apps that I've purchased or downloaded on my SD card.
Hmmm, not sure what the deal is.
Thanks

I received my new Verizon Rezound update this afternoon & it totally stinks. I have lost all of my photos. Can't get on Google. My SD card dismounted & I can't remount it. When I go on Facebook it has lost all my local locations and I cannot checkin. Is there a way to get rid of the update & go back to the last revision.
Message was edited by: Jim Knight Ice Cream has chilled the Rezound. I lost all of my downloaded ringtones & notifications and now I cannot download and install them from the app store.
