Recently my HTC ONE will only take blurry pictures of anything further away than a couple feet. It still takes crystal clear photos of objects up close. Nothing is obstructing the camera, the lens is clean, and it hasn't been dropped. All pictures further than a foot are out of focus.

tombones99,
Capturing all pictures is important and we definitely want them to be crystal clear whether up close or from afar. We'll work together to get some answers for you. What software version do you have? Does the phone focus at all when tapping the screen? Are you having the same issue when recording?

Hi, thanks for contacting me.
The phone does not focus (although it does try) when tapping it. In fact, it will be kind of in focus for a split second until it tries to focus and then goes out of focus.
I do not have the same issue when recording video.
The Android version is 5.0.2. HTC Sense version 6.0. Software Number 6.22.605.3.
I believe I pay for an extended warranty. Would this qualify for taking advantage of it?
Thanks,
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Thanks for getting back to us. Let's dig deeper here for you. Do you currently have any case on your phone? If so, can you try removing the case and taking a test picture and verify if same results? Also how long has this problem been going on? How long have you had this phone? Any physical or liquid damage? Thanks in advance.
