HTC TB Internal Phone Storage

Forgive me if this has been mentioned but I had a question about the internal phone storage on the TB...I have read the specs on this phone for sometime prior to the release and every site has the amount of Internal Storage listed as 8GB but when I go into my settings, it reads 2.34GB?

Ive downloaded some apps and all that were capable of being moved were moved to the memory card, and all music has been saved there as well. If I am reading this correctly (please correct me if I am wrong) but the DINC has more internal memory than the TB? With the exception of the bloatware, the DINC is a proven phone and worked thru all the bugs but with the amount of memory compared to the DINC and the inconsistent data signal ...is the move from DINC to the TB really worth it? Sounds like I was better off before and just got greedy, haha!

i've had the inc for almost a year and absolutely love it.....but i want that front facing cam!!!! so i will take my chances on the tbolt in a week when my upgrade is due. it is supposed to be 8 gigs so i'm not sure what's going on there????

I read somewhere it's a bug and a future update should free up majority of what you are missing.

hope so ...per the vzw in store rep, the internal storage varies by carrier software ...so the OS takes up more than 5GB's? thats crazy ...it must be a bug because the same software essentially took about a GB and a half on the DINC. I guess there are a few more functions/activities on the TB but to take that much storage is kind of dissapointing ...no wonder they slapped a 32GB card in there!

no...i think tidbits may be correct, because there is NO WAY the OS takes 5 gigs.
