I'm traveling to the UK for a long weekend and was wondering if there are any other options for using the HTC TB without having to incur the roaming charges? Would it be best to just buy one of those "pay as you go" phones or should I subscribe to one of the international plans offered by Verizon? From what I was able to understand from the Verizon plans - it seems you need to add these to your monthly plan and I don't want to pay a year's worth of dollars for something I will use probably once or twice a year.

The Thunderbolt isn't a world phone so it'll be useless unless you have wifi access as the UK looks to be GSM only. http://b2b.vzw.com/international/Global_Phone/Europe/United%20Kingdom-England%20Scotland%20Wales%20N...

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
