After I updated my phone last night, every time I push the home button, the page loads for about 30 seconds before showing me the homepage. What can I do to fix this?

Do a Power Cycle if that doesn't resolve the issue then i'd try a System Cache clear that should clear the issue if Not you may have to F.R. the Phone clear out the Cob Webs in the phone. But usually the Power cycle should help..

I have tried a power cycle, and it only started after the IOS update

Did you try Pulling the Battery and Holding the power button in for about 20 to 30  Sec. ?  Give that a Try..  Ann might be on here and have a suggestion as she has a T-Bolt
