When I first looked at my Google calendar on my phone it looked like all my appointments were there. Then I added an appointment to my Google calendar on my PC. A day later I looked at the calendar on my phone and the event was not there. Do I have to manually synchronize the calendars?

VFBOFIL, I can assist with synchronizing your Google calendar. You should not need to manually sync your phone, but we want to make sure your settings are correct on the phone. Go to Settings>Accounts & Sync>Select your Gmail accout. Make your your Calendar is checked and no errors. If it is already checked or there is an error, try unchecking then checking again. The phone should automatically start checking for any changes. If no changes, reboot phone and try to sync again.
