Check mark just ONE conversation for deletion> and then go up right>  to three menu dots.click>  and then you will see> "Select All'. ..>all conversations will now be marked>then press>and all the emails will be deleted.

Simple?..Its called "Batch Editing".

Not really.

On most Android devices, you have to check each email and then you can delete them all in a group.

Is there a way to check them all or check them in groups?  Checking each one is onerous.

The other responder is correct. Each email has to be checked off for deletion or from the email read screen via the little trash can. Delete.

With some email apps, you can delete all of the email in a folder at once, others you would have to check each email.

The Yahoo Mail app, for instance, will let you select all emails in a folder for deletion. The Gmail app will not.

Keep in mind, if you have a lot of email to delete from Gmail, it may be easier to do so on the Gmail website as it DOES let you select all of the emails on a page which you can then delete.Smiley Happy
