How to delete apps I didn't add???

I had downloaded the Angry Birds apps and a couple other ones.  Well, since I've done that, I now have apps I cannot get rid of them, no matter what I do.  Does anyone know how to do this?  Also, I'll get random texts and links.  I cannot get it to stop.  Any idea on this one too?

I wonder if you have some air push ad issues. Download the Lookout Ad Network Detector from the Play Store and run it. Delete any application that is listed as an air push application.

I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.

steph46340,

This doesn't sound fun even a little bit! @Ann154 has the right idea! It definitely sounds like apps/ads that were added by one of the applications downloaded. I recommend her suggestion to download and run Air Push Detector and remove the apps listed. Keep me posted.

Thanks,
