HERE WE ARE ITS JULY 31ST AND STILL NO ICS!!!!!! WHEN IS IT GOING TO COME OUT DECEMBER 31ST???
i am sick and tired waiting for updates for android phones and being told update coming soon over and over again or having a phone that i might buy not be able to get the latest os (ie.jelly bean and what ever else comes out in the future) and i shouldnt have to root it to get my phone to work properly ( data signal dropping all the time) I think i might just get the iphone 5 this fall. granted i ll miss andoid but enough is enough.. htc is no longer getting any of my money. At least apple doesnt mess around when it comes to updates...
OS isn't going to fix living in a bad signal area.. sorry to break it to you..
most updates offer little to improve the phone..its mostly just a buzz word at this point..
some updates help improve the phone, some just make it slightly different.. if you are having problems with signal and data on GB chances are it is your phone or your area.. software isn't going to fix that
Hate to burst your bubble, but Apple DOES mess around with updates. Their old phones are magically incapable of running the newest features, i.e., iPhone 4 does not have Siri.
im sorry to tell you but the ics update did fix my issue. just like they said it would. had nothing to do with a bad signal area since i live in a very strong 4g area....
But that had nothing to do with ICS, and everything to do with the new radio software included with the update, something that could have been delivered separately.
