A lot of people were saying GB would only use one processor and that it wasnt multi-thread like the ICS is. Is there anyway for me to check if it is or not? Or if any of you guys know if it is?
Sorry, im a noob.. but I would really like to know, Thanks!
You can download System Panel from the play store. Looking on the Galaxy SIII running ICS, the first core is active all the time and the second only ramps up with user input (touching/scrolling, pressing a button, etc). Second may also come on once you get over a certain usage percentage on the 1st.
It looks like its still only using the first core but even after the first core goes to 100% the second still stays in sleep mode and overall processor power stays at 50% and wont go over. hmm
no.. android doesn't really need 2.. people have been on the rezound/razor for months
duel core is a selling point mostly at this time
