July 23rd ICS update

Over at droid life a couple of users hae stated upon talking to Verizon reps that the ICS holy grail update is being released OTA on Juy 23rd . They stated it was a boot error bug causing connectivity issues . How true this is I have no idea. BUT rest assured I will not be holding my breath .

I hear ya. I'd love to get ICS on my Rezound before the end of the month.

You know, I wish HTC would just put their version out there for us to download and install at our own peril. Especially when they officially provide a guideline, on their website, to unlock your phone. It would be nice, you know? "hey users, we completed ICS about a month ago, and here it is, or you can wait for the one from your carrier with their "bells and whistles""

where on droid life is this posted?  I tried to find it and found nothing about a verizon rep saying July 23rd.

So, nobody wants to believe that there is an issue with the update until some random guy making a comment on a website says they talked to a CS rep?  Even when you talk to reps yourselves and don't believe what they say?

The last CS reps I talked to, got rid of their Rezounds, bought the Incredible LTE 4g. They said they personally don't think ICS will be coming to Rezound at all. That is opinion and rumor also.

funny thing is, vzw reps dont have this info

so prepare for disappointment

When you call verizon they give you lip service because they depend on surveys for their job security, same as most jobs.
