Hey guys, new the forum. I got the ICS update last night, but since then the Messages "app" hasn't worked correctly. I touch a message thread and it just sits on the "loading" screen and never shows the messages. Basically txt messages are unusable atm. Anyone else had this problem or any other ideas? Also, not sure that its working on 4G correctly, (and yes 4G is available where I am) Thanks for any help.
**Note, double checked and it is only running on 3G**

Ya, I have the same problem. Not sure why yet, but I'm using handcent in the meantime.

Hmm, surprised no one else seems to be having this problem. Or maybe they haven't seen this thread, lol.

Ok, sorry for the double post, but I figured out my 3G/4G issue. The phone defaulted to CDMA network only. Still weird issues with the Message app though

Only thing I can suggest would be to clear the data and cache from the messaging app. (menu>settings>applications, choose the all tab at the top, find messaging, select clear cache and clear data) This will delete any text messages you have, and you will have to redo the settings, but hopefully it helps.

I am using Go SMS pro, it too is having some issues with ICS, just little glitches, nothing that is preventing it from working properly though. I did do a factory data reset after ICS update.
