Mexico with Thunderbolt

Will the Thuner Bolt work in Mexico?  I'm leaving for Mexico next week and will be putting the 1400 minute Mexico plan on my phone.  A customer service rep yesterday said that the TB would not work in Mexico or Canada yet.  I need to know if I should reactivate my Incredible for my trip.

4g phones should work on the 3g network...but being this is all new i think it would be less impacting if you activated your old phone just for the trip 😃

The phone will work there, same as any other VzW phone.

What doesn't work right now is the +Mexico (or, for that matter, +Canada) plans, for some reason, on the Thunderbolt right now.
