Hi all my native email client syncs with an exchange server. I sync my inbox + subfolders of that inbox. If one of the subfolders gets new mail, an alert isn't displayed. Alert is displayed only if mail does not go into any subfolder. This seems like basic stuff that this app should be able to handle. Any suggestions?
Hi Tommylicious! Thanks for your inquiry. I checked and I do not see any settings for notifications on email sub-folders on your device. I checked and I see that this has been reported previously and Google working on an update, but no dates. Here is some info: http://bit.ly/HsaoYC. This is not specific to the Thunderbolt, but to Android in general. It is possible that some Androids may have that option, but the manufacturer may have added it. Also, there are several third party applications that support notification of sub-folders.
