No Service in Taiwan

I am currently in Taipei and have no service of any kind. I am supposed to have international on my phone. Needless to say I am not pleased. I had to purchase a phone to use here. I would appreciate any help on this matter as the global techs cant seem to figure it out. I should also receive a free month as that is how long I have been here.

Not global in the sense that most people think (GSM+cdma), but it's supposed to work in the handful of countries that offer cdma coverage. Taiwan being one of them. That said, this is more of a peer-to-peer community forum. If the global techs can't figure it out, I doubt anyone here will either

To the OP, you added an international plan to the device. I know this seems like a stupid question as you would think the CSR would do it automatically, did you specifically ask for international services be activated on your account??

If not, call global services and have them check to see if that switch was flipped on your account.
