I hate the ICS "downgrade!" I cannot get my messages to open. My phone buzzes when I get a message but when i click on it, it just says please wait......indefinately! And when i try to open pics sent to me on my go sms pro app. it wont open them if sent from an iphone, or a forward. WTF. My thunderbolt was awesome before this stupid upgrade, And Verizon owes me a new phone because they are the ones who screwed it up with this generic ICS crap upgrade. If I wanted a new phone, I would have upgraded!!!!!! Verizon needs to contact me and fix this.
Plug the phone in, turn off the screen timeout and open the text message app. Then let it work to reformat the messages into the new display format.
