The HTC One on every other carrier in the US is up and running on 4.3 while we are still on 4.2. Today Google officially debuted 4.4 Kit Kat which puts us two updates behind. Any guesses on when or if VZW will get around to letting us have 4.4? I'm guessing mid December for the 4.3 upgrade and January of 2015 for 4.4.

I am thinking the HTC One will have 4.3 before the end of the year and won't have 4.4 until October 2014. HTC is by far the slowest to get any updates on Verizon.

HTC One (Android 4.3)
First line of business was the status of the delayed Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update for the HTC One on Verizon Wireless. According to HTC, 4.3 will now be a 2-step process. The first involving a compatibility update pushing out as early as this week. After that, One users can expect 4.3 at some point in December. ...
HTC One (Android 4.4 KitKat)
HTC was also quick to point out that the delay of 4.3 will have no impact on the timing of Android 4.4 KitKat. Currently, HTC plans to deliver KitKat by the end of January, yet we can’t help wonder why they’re even bothering with 4.3 when 4.4 will get pushed out a few weeks later. It’s possible things had already been set in motion and there was no turning back.
