Rezound keyboard issues

Anyone else have problems with the rezound keyboard? When I type it changes lines halfway across the screen like its in vertical mode. Then, it locks up so i cannot even backspace. I hope the next update fixes this. I had to buy a keyboard app to be able to text or type emails!

I understand the keyboard is very important.  I suggest clearing the cache/data from the keyboard application.  You may do so by following the visuals here http://bit.ly/KNGXVp >Choose multi-touch keyboard>Clear cache/data.  Please power cycle your device and retest.  Thank you.

That doesn't look like my Rezound's software on the home screen I have a phone button on the bottom. That says phone....

That's because those screen shots are of a ReZound with the ICS update. The steps are still basically the same.

Yea I know I was just trying to get something from Verizon about the ICS update since nobody seems to know anything about it anymore

It was a nice try kansasboy. Assuming the ICS release for the Rezound actually does occur, I suspect Verizon will continue to neither confirm nor deny it .

So I want to know why are we seeing offical accidental images from both Verizon and HTC themselves. My friend and I think Verizon is just trying to sucker people into buying their new phone thats supposed to come out on the 5th, then after sales slow they will release ICS for Rezound. Well I'm not going to spend the 500 bucks to get a new phone and nobody with a rezound is eligible for an upgrade anyway, they would have to pay full price. Come on verizon we know its ready just push it already.

I have had something like five or six different Android phones since their launch in 2009 (phone A.D.D.) and have never liked the stock keyboards. In general, they are slow, unreliable, and...well...I think that covers it. I ended up purchasing the Swiftkey keyboard, which is immensely better on every Android I have used it for.

The Rezound keyboard has to be the worst I have ever seen on a phone, If I am not constantly going back and making corrections, it will inadvertently place the . in between words. I love this phone in every other regard, but the keyboard is making me rethink owning the phone.
