Signal problems

I've been having a lot of signal issues over the past week or so with my thunderbolt, where the signal bars will still show good signal, but no 4g, 3g, or even 1x. Its been happening to both my phone and my fiancees. Almost every time the signal drops out, I have to restart the phone to get it to recognize again. When it drops out, my widgets still show verizon wireless, and usually the weather widget will say no connection or timed out. We live in Las vegas, if that helps any with others experiencing the same problems.

Me too. Today my network was off most of the day and I didn't even notice it because the battery also ran down to nothing in under half a day, which it never does so I had it plugged in and not where I could see it. When I did look at it, I just thought I wasn't getting any email or Talk messages until I realized it showed roaming on my phone and no data. When I went into the Status, the Mobile Network kept saying Starting service and then it would quit and then do it again.

I got on here and found that some people had already gotten the GB update which I checked my phone for two days ago after a friend got his and mine wasn't there then. Today it was so I am going to try it without worrying about the VM notification and see if that fixes the problem.

I love this phone but around update time, it sure gets cranky. And I hope the other post about the random reboots coming back was a fluke. I can't stand that again.
