I've been experiencing slow data speeds on my Thunderbolt over the past 3-4 months.
I have filed 3 trouble ticket's about this issue. The first one came back and said the tower was operating normally. The 2nd one was assigned to someone who came down and worked on the tower and replaced some hardware but it did NOT solve my issue with the 3G speeds. Just fixed it so it wouldn't bounce back to 1X during congestion. I live in a fairly large town. The Verizon tower I can see from my house. It is less then 2 miles away. So coverage is NOT a issue.
I went uptown to the local Verizon Wireless partner store. The employee's there was experiencing the same thing. They called and filed a trouble ticket under their phone number.
The recent ticket that was filed was closed, the team that came to this area said the tower was working correctly.
Here are my current data speeds. Using multiple servers on Speedtest.net application it shows same results.
I'm testing on my phone with -75dbm and 4 bars.
I had my phone replaced so it's not hardware also the iPhone on the account is experiencing the same issue.
Hopefully someone can fix this! I'm getting tired of slow speeds.
