Just talked to Verizon the tier 2 tech said once you have installed the update  if yuou do not recive VM Notifications call tech support they can enable them through Mtask in thier network don't know how that works but they assured me it would that it is not a rom issue it is  a setting in thier network ??

I defer to those with more knowledge than I

I have not updated yet if som e who has call and see if there is a anetwork fix we all would loike to know...

Oh, and I'm having no luck setting up GV.  The call to forward will not go through, I get a switch message from Verizon.

LOL @ VZW.  The rooted community has known about this VM indicator bug since the first Gingerbread ROM was leaked - and this sucks badly because I was rooted and running a custom GB ROM fine - shame on me for going back to the OTA GB ROM thinking that the VM indicator issue would have been fixed.

Surely VZ wouldn't release a dodgy ROM with the VM indicator bug having been noted for like 4-6 weeks.

Can't argue with the LTE speeds though.
