Swapping the sim card

Hello my thunderbolt fell from a high distance and has unfortunatly shattered. I just purchased another one used. My question is can i just take my original sim card and install it in the new one without having to go online and activate? The new one has a clean esn.

Yes, you should be able to put your original 4G LTE SIM card in the new phone (Thunderbolt). If you have any issues, I would suggest calling customer service from another phone at 1-800-922-0204 or *611 from an Verizon Wireless phone.

Just be advised it can take upto 10 Mins for everything to start working again. I did this last night and Until it fully kicked in and rebooted (10 mins) not all functions were working...
