Ok, here is the deal. I'm deployed overseas and I use my phone through wifi. I had to do a factory reset on my phone today after it was continously having sync issues. I reset the phone and now it won't let me activate the Google account. I go through the steps for the phone set-up and the Google account set-up expires and says that it can not connect to Google data servers (even over wifi?). I can still access the internet, but I can't use anything/activate anything else, such as mail, app market, and can't verify my location through GPS either for the weather widget and the maps. Which were some of the issues to begin with before I did the factory reset. Any solutions?

Does Verizon customer service even respond to these forum posts?

Sometimes; this is a customer-to-customer forum, so if a Verizon rep responds, it's usually after a period of time has gone by so that customers have a chance to respond.

I have signed in my gmail account after a factory reset on a WiFi only SIM card removed Thunderbolt.
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
